Chan Shaolin Si - (chan - meditation or a fist, Shaolin - the monastery, si - a mountain, a place where the monastery is). Training in this style is learning beginners about basic techniques. Advanced students learn special techniques of breathing and meditation by repeating complicated moves invented in the Shaolin monasterty. This style consists of classical forms of the Greater and tle Lesser Dragon and various excercises to do with partner. Dju Su Kung Fu - This style is a specific method of self-defence against unaremd and armed opponents, in which the bacis positions are skipped. Fast defending reaction and counter-attack are typical for this style. The Ball - An universal and perfect form, with a static point inside. The area is changed instantly in many directions. It can attract or cast away. The Water - It undertakes the shape of utensil, can become a waterfall, a whirlpool, a wave, a drop and many others. The Leaf - Seeming submission, changing the area and the rhytm. Self - defence or desire to preserve your health and life in combat lets us to develop our martial arts skills to full perfection. Our training consists of developing physical dexterity, learning to free ourselves from constriction and other catchings, practice diffrent combat and kicking techniques, classical pre-arranged forms, throws and learning to use weapons such as short stick or a tonfa and to defend from an enemy armed with knife, bat or even a gun. Training takes place either in the gym and outdoors, sometimes at extreme conditions. Academy describes its own style as COMBAT. For over 50 years a few generations of instructors guided by master Józef Brudny (10 DAN) have developed an unique, Polish combat style with separate philosophy based on Christianity known and oficially registered as Martial Art of Pszczyna, which lives and is constatnly changing. Systema - Russian martial art created for special forces and intelligence agencies. It is rooted in Russian national tradition. |
